Steve August
Associate VP Marketing & Analytics
Road Scholar

Steve oversees digital marketing, catalog circulation, and campaign analytics for Road Scholar. Previously, he was CMO at Universal Screen Arts, SVP of Marketing at The Sharper Image, and OVP of Marketing at Brookstone. Steve holds a BA in Economics from St. Anselm College and an MBA in Marketing from the University of New Hampshire.

Brad Bishop

Brad is a direct response veteran of more than three decades. He has held senior marketing positions for Talbots, J. Jill, WearGuard, Specialty Catalog and The Paragon. He is recently retired from SmartPak, the Plymouth, MA supplier of equestrian products and nutritional supplements, where he was VP of Direct Marketing. Brad has an undergraduate degree from Denison University and an MBA from the University of Virginia. He enjoys world travel, photography, cycling and golf.

Ms. Brayfield is an award-winning direct marketing strategist, recognized for her "new thinking" and analytical approach to brand and creative strategy. For 30 years, she's worked worldwide with notable consumer and B2B brands including Hallmark, HoneyBaked Ham, BBC, IKEA, American Express and Legal Sea Foods. Her innovative approach is shared in over 100 published articles and dozens of speaking engagements worldwide. Ms. Brayfield currently serves on the NEMOA board.

Dave Cummings

Dave is the Vice President of Marketing Services for Sporty’s Catalogs a multi-title direct marketer serving the aviation and homeowner markets.  He has over 35 years of marketing experience including CHS (a farm cooperative), Brookstone, Abacus/Epsilon, Pet Warehouse and Sporty’s.   Dave is a graduate of Indiana Wesleyan University.

Shanie Cunningham

Shanie started at Boden 5 years ago when the US Marketing office first opened. Her job requires a focus on retaining the quirk & British in the Brand while efficiently Marketing to an American audience. Luckily, diplomacy is her passion.

Brent Eskew

Brent is one of those larger-than-life people, with an infectious smile, limitless energy, and easy going manner. After University of Colorado Law School, this Colorado son of a wheat farmer and rancher became deputy district attorney and gained a reputation as an accomplished courtroom litigator in more than 300 successful trials. Brent is all about excellence—which brought him to Wiland where he and his team handled new business development across numerous industries. Brent loves hiking, snowshoeing, alpine skiing, road bicycling, four-wheeling, and dirt biking. He has summited 43 mountain peaks with elevations of over 14,000 feet, learning in that process that the critical thinking and perseverance required to reach those summits mirrors the work of understanding the challenges and opportunities faced by clients.

Pamela Higgins

Pamela uses her marketing experience and expertise to consults with clients and help them grow their offline and online businesses. Prior to Oracle Data Cloud, she worked for National Geographic for over 17 years as the VP of Marketing and Circulation for the catalog and online store, where she was responsible for strategic and tactical plans for customer reactivation, retention, and acquisition. She also held positions with Time Warner and Time Life and started her career as a list manager. She holds a BBA degree from The College of William and Mary.

Wade Lee Jones

Vice President,  Director CRM and Digital Advertising - CafePress

Wade Lee Jones is the Director, Marketing for CafePress, reporting directly to the CEO.  He provides strategic leadership for the company’s brand, digital advertising, social and CRM for CafePress.  He is responsible for the CafePress’s omni-channel advertising, direct mail, email, and CRM efforts.  As the Director, Wade leads digital advertising, including creative campaign development and execution; social media; digital products, including mobile and .com; and digital CRM, including email initiatives and 1:1 marketing. He directs the company’s management of the consumer database, lifecycle marketing the acquisition and retention efforts that deepen consumer engagement and brand affinity by leveraging personal, relevant and timely communications via catalog, email, search and display. Wade has a focus on best practices and industry trends that provide profitable ROAS advertising programs that link consumer behavior and data with brand initiatives. 
He  received, with honors, a Masters of Business Administration-Executive from the Owen School of Management at Vanderbilt University and holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Economics from University of Tennessee

Susan Landay

Currently President of Trainers Warehouse and Office Oxygen, Susan’s primary goal is to make training, learning, and work itself more fun and effective—through product development and creating communities where best learning and performance practices can be shared. Susan completed her undergraduate work at Yale University and received a graduate degree from the Kellogg School of Management at Northwestern University.

Prior experience includes advertising account work, negotiation training and performing as a clown for Ringling Bros. and Barnum & Bailey Circus. Susan has written numerous articles on management and training and currently writes the “Energize Learning” blog.

Jackie Marquis

Jackie is a Senior Vice President and is responsible for overseeing the multi-channel consumer,  retail and business and business verticals at Epsilon.  In her leadership role, Jackie works to drive strategic initiatives in order to help clients meet and exceed marketing and growth goals.  She has over 15 years of experience in direct and online marketing.
In 2015 Jackie graduated from The Leadership Ascent for Women.  This year-long executive program focused on enhancing leadership abilities and awareness to positively influence teams and individuals.

Dana Pappas

Dana is currently the CFO of Plow & Hearth, LLC a privately held multi-title direct marketer. Dana joined P&H in 1999 when the company was a wholly owned subsidiary of He was the COO of the company from 2006-2016. He began his direct marketing career at Talbots and has also worked at J. Jill, Appleseed’s and Faith Mountain, all in the Finance and Operations side of the business.

Dana holds a BS in Accounting from Bentley University and an MBA in Marketing and Finance from Babson College. He sits on the board of directors as Treasurer of his local chapter of Habitat for Humanity.

John Rossiter

John began his career in printing with Meredith / Burda in 1980 working in manufacturing while attending Lynchburg College. Since graduating in 1984, John has worked in manufacturing, marketing, and sales all in the printing industry and has been in New England since 1988. John has participated in NEOMA since 1988 and has served on the Board since 2012. John has served in many capacities over his 20 year tenure with RR Donnelley.  A native of Michigan, John has a BS in Political Science from Lynchburg College, Lynchburg, Virginia.”

Dana has over 30 years of experience in database marketing working with Garnet Hill, Chadwick’s of Boston, Yankee Magazine and The New England Journal of Medicine. Prior, Dana was responsible for Yankee Candle’s Direct-to-Consumer business unit and the database marketing program for Yankee Candle’s 600+ retail stores.

Bill Tine
Vice President, General Manager - King Arthur Flour

Bill is a Vice President at King Arthur Flour, a 100% employee-owned company and B Corp, where he oversees direct-to-consumer marketing, content and digital marketing, web development, and brand management of their consumer product goods.  Prior, Bill held senior marketing and general management positions in media at Cook's Illustrated and America's Test Kitchen, The Taunton Press's interactive group, and at Booz Allen Hamilton. A Dickinson College grad, he earned an MBA from The Tuck School of Business at Dartmouth College.  
Bill is currently the board chair of the Children’s Literacy Foundation and a member of the Board of Directors of Chelsea Green Publishing, also an employee-owned company focused on the politics and practice of sustainable living. Bill resides in Norwich, Vermont with his wife and two children.

Clark has been a Sales Executive with Quad Graphics for six years, with experience at Quebecor World and Brown printing prior to that.  Clark is a graduate of Bates college.

Eileen White

Eileen is the VP of Marketing for Southern Fulfillment Services whose brands include Hale Groves and Pittman & Davis.  She is responsible for marketing, eCommerce and merchandising for these brands.  Prior to joining Southern Fulfillment Services, Eileen held multiple roles at Web Decisions as well as Staples. During her 17+ years tenure at Staples she had many roles including leading eCommerce development for, Director of Customer Acquisition as well as Director of Database Marketing and Circulation. Prior to joining Staples, she worked at Hanesbrands, Inc. where she began her career in direct marketing. Eileen holds a BS in Computer Science from Central Connecticut State University.

Sara Florin

Her business card reads "Vice President of Creative,” but Sara is a graphic designer at heart. She’s been passionate about print since the days of dot matrix printers and hooked on hierarchy since high school newspaper. After earning a Graphic Design BFA from Columbia College Chicago, Sara did package design at a puzzle and game company. She then lucked into an amazing job at SmartPak Equine where she combines two passions, design and horses. She’s been at SmartPak since 2009, helping the company achieve its mission of changing the world, four hooves at a time. In that time, she’s built a Creative team of 15 all-star interactive and print designers, photographers and copywriters.

Outside of work, Sara’s interests range from running and weightlifting to European travel and watching pro wrestling. She has a rescue pit bull/boxer mix named Indiana and a retired event horse named Carpe Diem.

Karen Mayhew

Karen started her direct marketing career over 30 years ago with Direct Media Inc. which was later purchased by Infogroup. She’s held multiple sales positions within the data management arena and currently oversees a team responsible for the data sales and marketing efforts of over 300 clients in the catalog/retail, publishing and non-profit arenas.
Karen is an avid golfer and softball player.
