Steve August

NEMOA President: VP, Marketing - Road Scholar

Steve oversees digital marketing, catalog circulation, and campaign analytics for Road Scholar. Previously, he was CMO at Universal Screen Arts, SVP of Marketing at The Sharper Image, and OVP of Marketing at Brookstone. Steve holds a BA in Economics from St. Anselm College and an MBA in Marketing from the University of New Hampshire.

Lois Brayfield

NEMOA Vice President: Content CEO - J.Schmid & Assoc.

Lois is CEO of J.Schmid & Assoc., a boutique direct marketing and catalog agency helping clients position for growth in a changing world. Ms. Brayfield is an award-winning direct marketing strategist, recognized for her "new thinking" and analytical approach to brand and creative strategy. For 30 years, she's worked worldwide with notable consumer and B2B brands including Hallmark, HoneyBaked Ham, BBC, IKEA, American Express and Legal Sea Foods. Her innovative approach is shared in over 100 published articles and dozens of speaking engagements worldwide. Ms. Brayfield currently serves on the NEMOA board.

Shanie Cunningham

NEMOA Treasurer: Head of US Marketing - Boden

Shanie started at Boden 5 years ago when the US Marketing office first opened. Her job requires a focus on retaining the quirk & British in the Brand while efficiently Marketing to an American audience. Luckily, diplomacy is her passion.

Sara Florin

Marketing Chairperson: Creative Director - Sara Florin Design

A graphic designer at heart, Sara has been passionate about print since the days of dot matrix printers. After getting hooked on hierarchy while working on her high school newspaper, she earned a Graphic Design BFA from Columbia College Chicago. Sara started her professional career in package design and then transitioned to the world of catalog and direct marketing at SmartPak Equine. As the Creative Director there, she established the creative vision for a mission-based brand while building a team of 15 all-star creatives. Sara is now flexing her creative muscles on freelance graphic design projects from catalog consultation to last-minute logo design, from art directing photo shoots to executing extraordinary event installations.

Pamela Higgins

NEMOA Secretary: Senior Client Partner - Oracle Data Cloud

Pamela uses her marketing experience and expertise to consults with clients and help them grow their offline and online businesses. Prior to Oracle Data Cloud, she worked for National Geographic for over 17 years as the VP of Marketing and Circulation for the catalog and online store, where she was responsible for strategic and tactical plans for customer reactivation, retention, and acquisition. She also held positions with Time Warner and Time Life and started her career as a list manager. She holds a BBA degree from The College of William and Mary.

Jackie Marquis

Sr. VP Data Solutions - Epsilon

Jackie is a Senior Vice President and is responsible for overseeing the multi-channel consumer, retail and business and business verticals at Epsilon. In her leadership role, Jackie works to drive strategic initiatives in order to help clients meet and exceed marketing and growth goals. She has over 15 years of experience in direct and online marketing.

In 2015 Jackie graduated from The Leadership Ascent for Women. This year-long executive program focused on enhancing leadership abilities and awareness to positively influence teams and individuals.

Karen Mayhew

Membership Chair: EVP Consumer Data Management - Infogroup Data Solutions

Karen started her direct marketing career over 30 years ago with Direct Media Inc. which was later purchased by Infogroup. She's held multiple sales positions within the data management arena and currently oversees a team responsible for the data sales and marketing efforts of over 300 clients in the catalog/retail, publishing and non-profit arenas.

Karen is an avid golfer and softball player.

Dana Pappas

NEMOA Past President: CFO - Plow & Hearth

Dana is currently the CFO of Plow & Hearth, LLC a privately held multi-title direct marketer. Dana joined P&H in 1999 when the company was a wholly owned subsidiary of 1800Flowers.com. He was the COO of the company from 2006-2016. He began his direct marketing career at Talbots and has also worked at J. Jill, Appleseed's and Faith Mountain, all in the Finance and Operations side of the business.

Dana holds a BS in Accounting from Bentley University and an MBA in Marketing and Finance from Babson College. He sits on the board of directors as Treasurer of his local chapter of Habitat for Humanity.

John Rossiter

NEMOA Vice President: Vice President - Lindenmeyr Solutions

John began his career in printing with Meredith / Burda in 1980 working in manufacturing while attending Lynchburg College. Since graduating in 1984, John has worked in manufacturing, marketing, and sales all in the printing industry and has been in New England since 1988. John has participated in NEMOA since 1988 and has served on the Board since 2012. John has served in many capacities over his 20 year tenure with RR Donnelley. A native of Michigan, John has a BS in Political Science from Lynchburg College, Lynchburg, Virginia.

Dana Springfield

NEMOA Immediate Past President: Vice President of Marketing - Dover Saddlery

Dana has over 30 years of experience in database marketing working with Garnet Hill, Chadwick's of Boston, Yankee Magazine and The New England Journal of Medicine. Dana is currently VP of Marketing at Dover Saddlery. Prior, Dana was responsible for Yankee Candle's Direct-to-Consumer business unit and the database marketing program for Yankee Candle's 600+ retail stores.

Eric  has over 25 years of experience in print marketing working for Quad, Banta and Chapman printing.
